Bhakti Rathod is an award winning Indian actress and theatre artist from Mumbai.[1][2][3][4] Bhakti acted in Gujarati serial Pati Thayo Pati Gayo on Colors Gujarati.[5][6][7][8] Bhakti made her debut in Dhollywood with film Haal Rupali ne peinwa opposite Hitu Kanodia in 2009.[5] Bhakti also acted in rom-com web series.[9][10]Her upcoming film is an international feature film, titled 'The Last Koan' in English and Hindi, which is scheduled to release in 2018. She won the Gujarat Government State Award 2018 for her exceptional performance in Gujarati Movies.

Bhakti mother is Neela Soni who is a member of Central Board of Film Certification and Vice President of BJP North Mumbai. Her father is Kannubhai Kannu Rathod. She has a sister, Chitralekha Rathod. Bhakti completed her education from Rustomjee Cambridge International School & Junior College, Dahisar, Mumbai and University of Mumbai.

Bhakti started her career as a child artist in Hindi serials on Star Plus like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand.[11] She also acted in a Gujarati natak Family Ni Dandikuch and Dhollywood (Gujarati) film Aapne To Dhirubhai.[12][13][14][15] Bhakti got Best Theatre actress at the Tihai Gujarati Glamour Award 2014, for her play, '2 Idiots.'[16] Bhakti acted in Gujarati serials Pati Thayo Pati Gayo,[17]Kanho Banyo Common Man,[18] and directed a Gujarati play Mr and Miss barot. In 2017, Bhakti acted in a Gujarati romantic comedy web-series Kacho Papad Pako Papad.[19][20][21][22]

Talented Maharashtrian actress Rasika Vengurlekar will be seen entertaining her fans with her Hindi Television debut through Bhakarwadi serial.
The beautiful actress is a known for her stint of Pragalbha in ZEE Marathi serial Dil Dosti Duniyadari.
Producer of the show Bhakarwadi, J.D. Majethiya has confirmed the news of Rasika Vengurlekar joining the serial.
According to the latest news, Rasika Vengurlekar will be seen in a unique character. Her character will be of a girl with multiple shades.
Bhakarwadi will be an intriguing story which will revolve around the cultural differences between a Marathi and a Gujarati family.

Producers JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia are set to work on a new slice-of-life comedy, which will air on Sony SAB TV later this month.
The show titled ‘BhakarWadi’ is set in Pune. It tackles with ideological differences between a Marathi and a Gujarati family in a tongue-in-cheek manner, according to Mumbai Mirror.
Talking about the show, Majethia said, “Like our previous projects, this one will be in the comic zone too with a social message. After a long time, a television show will ride on a huge ensemble as we have managed to rope in 19 known actors from the Gujarati and Marathi film industries. This show is a New Year gift from us to the audience.”
The show stars Deven Bhojani, Paresh Ganatra and Jayesh More.
It is expected to air this spring on Sony SAB TV.
